Role
Who you are
- Proven ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers
- Experience in generating and qualifying leads through outbound prospecting (cold calling, LinkedIn, email)
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and customer purchasing processes
- Goal-driven and self-motivated to thrive in a high-activity, metric-driven sales role
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and active listening skills
- Strong organization and time management for handling multiple accounts
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Experience with UK, Ireland, or US markets is a plus
- Typically requires 1+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales (BDR, SDR, or similar role) and a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a talented, English-speaking Business Development Representative to accelerate our growth in EMEA and North America
- As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in the company's growth strategy by focusing on outbound prospecting and lead generation to drive revenue growth
- Proactively qualify leads in EMEA and North America through targeted outreach
- Identify, engage, and nurture high-potential leads mainly via phone, LinkedIn, and email
- Conduct strategic prospecting and develop personalized outreach campaigns
- Schedule and lead discovery meetings with qualified prospects
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to execute outbound sales sprints
- Manage CRM (HubSpot) pipeline, ensuring data accuracy and tracking outreach performance
- Work with Marketing and Sales teams to refine lead generation and qualification strategies
- Experiment with outbound messaging approaches to improve conversion rates

Howspace was an early proponent of remote work culture and continues to release new products such as Steps, in 2022 a decision democratisation feature. Its founding dates back to 2008 so it’s no wonder that it took nine years to reach seed funding. As technology has caught up with its aspirations, Howspace received a total sum of $16.5 million between 2017 and 2021, when the remote work boom really took off.
