Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their enterprise selling expertise, energized by Insurtech innovation, and driven to make an impact within a fast-moving company
- 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, ideally with prospecting and relationship-building responsibilities

What the job involves
- As a Account Executive at Hi Marley, you will play a key role in growing our business by introducing our platform to new clients
- This is an opportunity to refine your enterprise selling skills while working closely with a supportive, collaborative team
- You will help drive new business, build relationships with enterprise prospects, and guide buyers through the sales process by clearly articulating the value Hi Marley brings to their organizations
- Own pipeline development and progress opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
- Achieve pipeline and revenue targets across a defined set of strategic accounts
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the buying process
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, Education, and Engineering to execute sales strategy
- Educate customers on the value Hi Marley delivers for carriers and their insureds
- Collaborate with the Customer team to support adoption, long-term value, and successful client outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting on pipeline, account plans, and sales activities
- Track market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Develop expertise in key insurance business issues, workflows, and Hi Marley’s solution offering
- Represent Hi Marley at industry events and conferences to build brand visibility and strengthen relationships
- Accurately document account and opportunity activity in Salesforce or other sales systems
Our take
The insurance industry can be notoriously frustrating for policyholders during the claims process, with a reported 40% of people considering a switch of insurers following a claim. This is the outcome that Hi Marley wants to help carriers avoid.
The company uses an AI-enabled communication platform designed to allow insurance carriers and their partners to talk to policyholders in real time via simple text messaging. This ultimately gives carriers more opportunities to satisfy and retain their customers.
Hi Marley has enjoyed rapid growth in recent years, with a quadrupling of its user base. It has also more than doubled the number of carriers using its platform, which now includes the likes of American Family, MetLife, Auto-Owners, Erie, and MAPFRE. Improvements such as the addition of a suite of collaborative tools to its platform seem likely to help it maintain its edge in the market.
