Role
Who you are
- Selenium Webdriver experience
- Java experience preferable (but experience in any modern language and a willingness to switch)
- Prior experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Knowledge of other languages beneficial (Javascript, React, PHP, etc.)
- Experience in testing modern web applications
- Knowledge of database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL helpful
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Selenium, Postman, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- ISTQB Foundation Level a preference
What the job involves
- With Intelligence is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing tech team
- As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing automated tests to help verify releases and monitor/collect data from the sites
- You will collaborate with other QA team members to ensure that our features are tested in a timely manner and raise bug reports for any issues found
- Maintain and extend TestNG based Selenium suite of critical UI flows
- Work with Developers on ensuring the best test coverage for UnitTests, APITests, ContractTests
- Maintain and extend site monitoring smoke tests. (Currently uses 3rd party software with a syntax similar to Cypress)
- Run and monitor automated suites in relation to release testing
- Occasional manual verifications where needed
- Raise comprehensive and complete bug reports for anything found
