Tax Analyst, Riot Games

• You will be hands-on, understand tax operations, and collaborate cross-functionally
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or other related field
• 2+ years of federal tax experience in a public and/or corporate accounting environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (can perform formulas and functions)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, great attention to detail, and ability to complete projects with less oversight
• Strong time management skills, organizational skills, and ability to navigate competing priorities
• Self-starter with the initiative to solve problems on their own, with a desire to learn and approach problems analytically
• Take the initiative to learn about the company's business and industry, as well as other tax topics

• Riot Games is looking for a dynamic Tax Professional to join our expanding Tax team
• As a Domestic Tax Analyst, reporting to the Domestic Tax Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing tax compliance matters, as well as driving automation within the tax team
• Assist with preparation of annual tax provision, tax compliance, indirect taxes, and other federal and state reporting as applicable
• Support the tax team with special projects, such as memos, tax planning, and R&D
• Research, document, and understand new tax legislation and related impact to Riot with the support of the Domestic Tax Manager
• Support any information requests and tax controversy analysis in collaboration with the Domestic Tax Manager
• Collaborate with groups in legal, accounting, finance, purchasing, esports, and R&D, as well as external advisors, on a variety of recurring and nonrecurring projects
• Identify areas for automation and process improvement in addition to documenting existing processes
