IT Project Manager, Vara

• Degree or vocational training in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field – ideally with relevant work experience
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Network and system architectures, VPN
• Web services (APIs), web applications
• Server administration (Linux) and/or database administration (SQL)
• Health IT systems like PACS, RIS, DICOM standard, HL7, or FHIR
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Experience working directly with customers: you understand their needs and can communicate complex topics in a clear, accessible way
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level in both)
• Willingness to travel within Germany (10–20%) for customer projects, trainings, and industry events

Desirable

• As an IT Project Manager – Healthcare AI Deployment & Support, you will play a key role at the intersection of our clients, developers, product managers, AI specialists, and operations team
• Your mission: to ensure successful product deployments and provide seamless operations and support for our customers
• Customer Go-Lives: You will be the primary contact for new customers (hospitals, radiology practices, and screening units) – managing the entire technical onboarding process. This includes requirements analysis, technical integration, go-live coordination, and ongoing customer support
• Support Management: As part of our operations team, you will be the first point of contact for radiologists and their IT teams using our product (we work with Freshdesk, Asana, and Slack). If an issue cannot be resolved at first level, you will coordinate second-level support with the relevant teams (e.g., Engineering, Machine Learning, Regulatory Affairs)
• Quality Management: You will ensure that our project management and service processes meet the standards of our quality management system
