Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on marketer with experience executing on detailed and highly impactful campaigns across various channels, driving brand awareness, and delivering measurable results
- We are seeking candidates who can commit to a full-time temporary position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- 7+ years of experience in a senior integrated marketing role, with demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact strategies across both performance and brand marketing
- Experience managing large-scale advertising budgets and leading campaigns that achieve both sales and efficiency goals; app marketing experience is a strong plus
- Strong creative instincts, with the ability to lead on campaign creative and provide clear, actionable feedback to elevate work
- A proven ability to work to ambitious sales goals, using data and market insights to shape strategies and deliver measurable results
- A collaborative and influential leadership style, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and inspire high performance
- Experience managing and motivating a team, with a demonstrated ability to set clear expectations and lead with empathy
- A passion for the performing arts and a desire to contribute to TodayTix’s mission of making theatre more accessible to all
What the job involves
- This is a parental cover, temp position for 3 - 4 months
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-focused Interim Director of Marketing, US to oversee and lead all marketing efforts for our US markets for TodayTix, with a focus on New York (Broadway)
- This role will be responsible for implementing the agreed multi-channel marketing strategy for TodayTix, ensuring that all elements - paid and unpaid, brand-focused and product-focused - work in an integrated way to drive sales and achieve key business goals
- This role will also oversee brand marketing responsibilities, including campaign execution, PR coordination, and organic social media, ensuring a unified approach across all marketing efforts
- Reporting to the SVP Marketing, TodayTix, you will manage a talented team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and help drive success for Q2 2025

- Implement the marketing strategy for TodayTix US, aligning with business objectives and immediate growth and sales goals
- Lead the execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing activities to deliver innovative, sector-leading campaigns that achieve both brand and growth targets
- Create and execute marketing plans for specific shows and multi-show campaigns, collaborating with the Partner Success team to drive sales and engagement
- Oversee all brand marketing efforts, including campaign development, PR strategy, and organic social media, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging
- Drive CRM and email marketing strategies that align with immediate priorities and effectively engage TodayTix Members
- Partner with key stakeholders to plan and execute performance marketing campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.) while leading non-performance media efforts for cohesive, impactful results
- Oversee the US marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to maximize performance and deliver measurable outcomes
- Advocate for TodayTix Members, ensuring all marketing highlights key brand benefits and enhances the customer experience
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize campaigns, collaborating with Product and Tech teams to boost effectiveness
- Provide clear leadership to the marketing team, fostering high performance and maintaining a results-driven focus during the interim period
Our take
Founded in 2013 by Broadway veterans Brian Fenty and Merritt Baer, TodayTix Group has grown to become a global eCommerce leader for cultural experiences. Aiming to connect a worldwide audience with theatre, opera and dance productions, to date it has sold over 70 million tickets to 200,000 shows listed on its platform.
While numerous ticket sellers exist, TodayTix was an innovator in this area, arriving at a time when mobile devices accounted for less than 1/1000th of all theatrical ticket sales. Standing out with its extensive tech stack including widgets, API and white label software for its partners, it is able to provide an excellent customer experience with a checkout process of less than 30 seconds. This has led to around 5% of all sales on Broadway being processed through TodayTix's platform today.
Since 2020, TodayTix has focused heavily on acquisitions, focusing on tech-forward theatre and cultural event companies. These includes Goldstar, Show-Score, Encore and Broadway Roulette. Most recently TodayTix has acquired Secret Cinema, growing its participation in the immersive film and television events space and strengthening its market leading position in the entertainment industry.
