- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing, preferably within the music industry
- Proven track record of managing YouTube channels, including optimization and monetization strategies
- A proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in both written and verbal Spanish communication
- Deep passion for music and comprehensive understanding of industry trends
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and guide decision-making
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, Adobe Suite, and Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What the job involves
- We're searching for a Manager, Marketing Strategy & Premium Video (MSPV) to join our Miami Digital Marketing team
- In this role, you will closely collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute innovative digital marketing campaigns and ensure the success of our artists' and labels' music video releases on YouTube
- As a manager of our MSPV department, you'll coordinate and oversee the distribution and optimization of music videos and YouTube channels
- Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our music company by aiding in the creation of effective digital marketing strategies
- Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, monitoring analytics and performance, creating reports, creating and optimizing digital content, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Execute digital marketing strategies to increase views, streams and engagement
- Ensure compliance with best practices and stay updated on digital marketing trends. Support and optimize YouTube channels and music videos for artists and labels
- Develop and implement strategies for music video releases and audience engagement
- Curate playlists and collaborate with artists, managers, and labels to promote new releases
- Manage and analyze campaign performance, creating reports with key insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize digital content, including videos, graphics, and written materials
- Identify opportunities for innovation and assist with monthly accounting and reporting processes

The Orchard has spent 25 years offering independent artists a comprehensive set of music services, including marketing, sales, YouTube monetisation, and distribution and licensing across over 40 worldwide markets. The company has spent nearly a decade of that time operating as a subsidiary of Sony Music.
The addition of YouTube monetisation services a decade ago was a smart move for The Orchard - even if it’s landed the company in some hot copyfraud water for what some criticise as an overzealous approach to copyright infringement claims. It’s meant that artists with The Orchard have more tools in their arsenal to combat the rise of streaming services, which have put independent artists in a difficult position regarding monetisation.
If the company wants to continue providing the best service for independent artists, however, it may need to be more proactive in accommodating new and highly influential trends in music marketing. TikTok, for example, has become a major tool for generating exposure, and many artists are experimenting independently with NFTs. The industry is moving at light speed, and The Orchard may need to pick up its pace to continue attracting independent talent.
