Who you are
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. MS/PhD degrees are preferred
- 10 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong foundation in system architecture and clean code
- 5+ years of experience building and managing a software development team, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing first-line managers
- 2 years of experience in a technical lead or architect role
- Experience in managing engineers located in multiple countries
- Excel in managing multiple parallel projects
- Experience in C++ and Python
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment
- Manage, mentor, and grow a global engineering team
- Define, implement, and oversee development processes to ensure high-quality and on-time product delivery
- Set standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work with product managers and technical program managers to set development priorities and manage project scopes
- Represent the engineering team in customer engagements, gather and analyze customer requirements, and drive solutions

Software-defined vehicles represent the biggest innovation in automobiles for decades, but there are large obstacles in the way of their growth. The software that defines such vehicles requires over-the-air (OTA) updates and other forms of maintenance, which can quickly become a time-consuming and resource-intensive process.
Sonatus develops cloud-based solutions for software-defined vehicles, providing a platform called Digital Dynamics that empowers automakers to harness vehicle data, add feature updates, diagnose problems, and maintain vehicle infrastructure wirelessly and in real time. The company achieves its flexibility through cloud-empowered data infrastructure, no-code software solutions, and working closely with clients.
Whilst the company faces competition from other IoT vehicle software companies, Sonatus shows great potential to compete through its all-in-one approach. This has earned it impressive funding, which supports further development and the increase of production volume, as well as the company's expansion into the Japanese market.
