Who you are
- Over 7 years’ experience working in Product Management in a RegTech or FinTech
- In-depth understanding of sanctions screening, including client challenges, client needs and third-party products
- In-depth understanding of the global payments industry, including market trends and market infrastructure
- In-depth understanding of Large Language Models, including market trends and how they are being applied
- Analytically-minded with the ability to derive insight from data and use that insight to inform product development decisions
- Ability to think creatively and identify innovative ways of solving client problems
- Customer centric, with the ability to articulate clearly the product value proposition and the unique outcomes the product has on the client
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience presenting at industry events, including webinars, panel discussions and presentations
- Commercially-minded with experience developing business cases, pricing models and go-to-market strategies
What the job involves
- In this role you’ll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and the financial services industry to define and execute a long-term product vision for GSS, one that is transformative, delivers real value to our clients and delivers the business objectives of GSS
- Market and competitor analysis: Maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape including emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity. Translate insights into strategic opportunities
- Product strategy & vision: Define and communicate a clear, compelling product vision and strategy that is transformative, informed by market dynamics, aligns with company goals and maximises market opportunities
- Long-term roadmap: Own and evolve the product long-term roadmap, ensuring it delivers on the strategic vision, differentiates the product and delivers value to GSS’s clients
- Marketing and communication: Champion the product value proposition, internally and externally. Gain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and sharing the right context at the right time. Champion a customer-first mindset across the business
- Problem discovery: Use data, research, and structured thinking to identify high-impact problems. Prioritise initiatives based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility
- Innovation and solution definition: Translate insights into innovative product strategies and features. Collaborate with design and engineering to deliver solutions that are intuitive, compliant, and scalable
- Commercialisation & pricing strategy: Defining pricing models in collaboration with Commercial team
- OKR and KPI definition: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for your products tracking product performance with data, usage insights, and stakeholder feedback
- Product management practices: Establish, evolve and champion best-in-class Product Management practices. Define frameworks, tools and rituals that promote strategic thinking, client focus and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead with vision: act as a thought leader, mentor, and coach. In this senior position you will work closely with the CPO to shape and elevate the team's ways of working. You will foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team stays aligned with product goals, strategic priorities and best practices
