Software Engineer, Coinbase

• You have at least 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• You’ve designed, built, scaled, and maintained backend services and infrastructure
• You write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify problems, determine their root cause, and see them through to solution

• Our teams build and maintain the platforms critical to the existence of Coinbase
• There are many teams that make up this group which include Product Foundations (i.e. Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure
• The Release team within Developer Experience is responsible for the systems and processes that allow the rest of Coinbase engineers to build and deploy software in a simple, safe and secure manner
• Learn, build, improve, and maintain build and deployment systems written in Golang
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions to novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices
• Work with engineers and leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
• Provide stellar customer support to our internal engineers
• Answers to crypto-related questions may be used to evaluate your onchain experience
