Who you are
- Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proven programming skills in Java
- Experience with APIs, SQL
- Experience with JavaScript, React,HTML and CSS is a plus

What the job involves
- KAYAK is seeking an Engineer to join our diverse and dynamic Email Marketing Team
- In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and marketing specialists to design and scale a world-class marketing platform
- You’ll help build and optimize systems that deliver personalized, meaningful messages to millions of users—encouraging engagement and keeping KAYAK top-of-mind for travelers
- Note: This is a hybrid work role for candidates who can join at least 3 days per week in-office
- Develop and improve backend services handling large-scale messaging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and build features
- Debug and optimize full-stack solutions
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
- Collaborate with colleagues from globally distributed teams

KAYAK processes over 6 billion queries across its platforms each year for travel information - as one of the world’s leading travel search engines, KAYAK searches other sites to show travellers the information they need to find the right flights, hotels, rental cars and vacation packages.
