Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who combines commercial drive, independence, and curiosity — someone who understands the UK & Dutch market, enjoys working across functions, and wants to grow in a modern, AI-enabled sales environment
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or a comparable commercial role
- Strong understanding of the UK/Dutch market, including local business culture and customer expectations
- You are fluent in English (C1) with excellent communication skills. Dutch is a plus
- Highly driven & proactive mindset: you create opportunities rather than wait for them
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to build trust
- Structured way of working, including pipeline management and follow-up discipline
- Tech-driven mindset, with curiosity for AI, automation, and new ways to improve sales effectiveness
- Familiarity with sales technology like Salesforce & Gong, or similar tools
Desirable
- Experience selling SaaS, compliance, ESG, privacy, GRC, legal tech, or RegTech solutions
- Experience contributing to local campaigns, events, webinars, roundtables, or market-building activities
- Strong sense of ownership and excitement about helping shape the North market for EQS
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive for North (UK & Netherlands), you will take ownership of well-established markets with strong growth potential and help shape its next chapter. You will sell the entire EQS Compliance & Ethics and Data Privacy portfolio across the UK & the Netherlands, to build trusted relationships with customers and act as a key local representative of EQS
- Modern sales tool stack. You'll work with Gong, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-supported workflows — fully enabled from day one so you can focus on selling, not setup
- North is a mature market for EQS, and this role is about building on that foundation and accelerating growth
- Own end-to-end sales cycles across the North market, selling EQS’s Compliance & Ethics & Privacy platform to mid-sized customers across the UK & the Netherlands
- Present EQS solutions in a clear, value-oriented way, connecting product capabilities to real business outcomes
- Act as the bridge between EQS and the UK & the Netherlands, building strong customer relationships and bringing local insights into the organization
- Operate independently in a focused market, managing pipeline, priorities, and workload with a high level of ownership
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to drive demand, strengthen market presence, and win new business
- Leverage modern sales tools and AI-supported workflows to improve efficiency, preparation, and overall sales execution

Our take
With consumers and investors concerned about the environmental and social impact of corporations and governments increasing regulations on carbon emissions and supply chains, businesses now must report on a range of metrics other than the bottom line. Aside from being the right thing to do, mistakes can be extremely costly both in reputation and in fines. Founded in 2000, EQS Group exists to make corporate compliance, investor relations and ESG reporting easier with its cloud-based EQS Cockpit resource.
The EQS Cockpit allows streamlining of a wide range of compliance processes, including relatively obscure matters such as whistleblower protection which have recently cost firms large amounts of money (see for instance Barclays receiving a $15 million fine along with massive reputational damage for failing to protect a whistleblower). In a time when governments such as Germany are increasing compliance requirements on supply chain to deal with the scourge of human trafficking, such a solution is likely to be particularly appreciated.
As expected of a company providing a much needed enterprise service, EQS Group has been in demand in recent years, seeing an almost 20% increase in revenue over 2022 and adding nearly 250 new corporate customers to its books. This growth is continuing, driven by the introduction of the EU whistleblower directive across the EU member states, a new investment from Thomas Bravo and by EQS Group's continuing marketing efforts as it expands into additional markets.
