Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or related field
- 10-12 plus years of experience in delivering transformation services in AP, P2P, S2P, or the finance operations domain
- Proven experience in leading global implementation projects, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment that has a global footprint. Own profitability goals, time to value and NPS
- Work in an Onshore-Offshore environment to drive delivery across the globe
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

What the job involves
- As the Delivery and Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects across US and Global Enterprises
- You will lead a team of implementation managers and specialists to ensure seamless implementation of AppZens AI solutions for Expense Audit and Accounts Payable automation
- You will help to scope project delivery costs, manage project escalations, and be responsible for keeping leadership teams informed of project status
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a global implementation strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market demands
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of implementation managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure project success. This would include working with India-based resources and other teams to ensure smooth implementations
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and monitoring progress against milestones. Work with delivery leadership to build project and program management practices that thrive on agility and quick value realization for the customers
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration of implementation efforts with overall business objectives
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for key clients during the implementation phase, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively and escalations are identified and handled quickly
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for implementation processes and deliverables, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to best practices
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the implementation experience for clients and internal stakeholders
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on the status of implementation projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the implementation budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenses are kept within budgetary constraints
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all implementation activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support implementation efforts, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and timelines
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management and implementation best practices

AppZen faces a large number of competitors in the finance automation space, with startups such as Expensify and Spendesk operating in the sector along with industry stalwarts such as SAP developing their own solutions. However, Appzen has carved out a strong early lead and has a large and rapidly growing client base. As it continues to develop its product it seems likely to maintain its market-leading position.
