Who you are
- A detail-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving

- Previous experience or coursework in business analysis, data analysis, or related fields is a plus, but not required
- A demonstrated interest and eagerness to engage in complex problem-solving using multiple data sources to address the strategic needs of the business
- Clear communication and presentation skills with a willingness to learn how to effectively convey insights using data
- Basic familiarity with SQL, data visualization/analytical tools, and intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workplace.
- Exposure to data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts is a plus
What the job involves
- The Strategic Analytics team at TTG is seeking an Intern to support in evaluating various business initiatives, identifying market trends, and offering critical insights that enable better prioritization and tracking toward our most ambitious goals
- As a Strategic Analytics intern, you’ll provide support in the evaluation of initiatives ranging from inventory/yield maximization, performance marketing efficiency, customer lifetime value optimization, and improving conversion
- You will gain exposure to many teams within our dynamic and fast-paced company, including Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and Senior Leadership
- This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve business performance through strategic insights derived from financial/operational, behavioral user data, and/or sales data
- Support in integrating data from various third-party and first-party data sources
- Learn to build basic SQL Scripts for processing and analyzing data under supervision
- Gain exposure to building, automating, and maintaining reporting systems with support from the team

Founded in 2013 by Broadway veterans Brian Fenty and Merritt Baer, TodayTix Group has grown to become a global eCommerce leader for cultural experiences. Aiming to connect a worldwide audience with theatre, opera and dance productions, to date it has sold over 70 million tickets to 200,000 shows listed on its platform.
While numerous ticket sellers exist, TodayTix was an innovator in this area, arriving at a time when mobile devices accounted for less than 1/1000th of all theatrical ticket sales. Standing out with its extensive tech stack including widgets, API and white label software for its partners, it is able to provide an excellent customer experience with a checkout process of less than 30 seconds. This has led to around 5% of all sales on Broadway being processed through TodayTix's platform today.
Since 2020, TodayTix has focused heavily on acquisitions, focusing on tech-forward, advertising, theatre and cultural event companies. These include Goldstar, Show-Score, Arthouse, Encore, and Broadway Roulette. TodayTix acquired Secret Cinema in 2022, growing its participation in the immersive film and television events space and strengthening its market-leading position in the entertainment industry.
