Who you are
- As a key member of an early-stage startup in hyper-growth you must be willing and able to wear multiple hats
- Proven experience in using data for solving real-world problems and a history of accomplishment and advancement in your career
- Resourcefulness and proactiveness: track record for executing independent projects and leading complex, cross-functional projects with dependencies
- Fluency with experimental design and interpretation and an exceptional product and business sense
- Coding ability: proficiency with SQL and Python is a strong plus
- Great communication skills: can effectively and patiently work with others in a closely collaborative team environment. Can communicate the results of experiments — especially what can and what cannot be validly deduced from an experiment - and can articulate a persuasive case for investing in certain growth initiatives
- Ability to work for min 3 days a week from the office in Spitalfields
What the job involves
- We are looking for a growth data analyst to power charge our growth efforts
- As a key member of our growth team, you will be expected to own our growth model and help us answer questions like: how do we acquire and retain customers, what are the gaps in our marketplace supply and what’s the incremental value of adding specific products and brands, how do we optimise the early lifecycle of buyers and suppliers on Fleek
- In addition to the above, your ability to identify and address the complex challenges inherent in managing a two-sided marketplace will be critical to Fleek’s continued growth and success

The rise of eBay and Depop and increased social conscience has seen hyper-consumerism and fast-fashion being left behind. Fleek offers a B2B wholesale marketplace for second-hand fashion through which retail stores and online resellers are able to buy from vintage clothing suppliers from all over the world.
The used clothing supply chain has been fragmented and primarily offline, preventing vintage wholesale buyers and sellers from growing their businesses. Typically, to buy vintage inventory, storeowners have to travel to distant warehouses in a cost-inefficient manner. Fleek offers a central platform for wholesalers, spread across 8 countries, to connect and sell to buyers, allowing these store-owners to conveniently find produce and scale their businesses like never before.
The company is backed by early stage start-up accelerator, Y-Combinator, who was an initial investor in Twitch and Airbnb, as well as other VC funds which will see Fleek invest in developing its product and finding its product-market fit.
