Who you are

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or related
Must have 1 year of experience with the following: working with Python, SQL, Java, C/C++ and Javascript
Must have 1 year of experience working with relational and non-relational databases including Postgres, MongoDB, Data modeling and database designing
Must have 1 year of experience working with Cloud service platforms including AWS and management tools including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM

What the job involves

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team
Help scale the company’s proprietary database and build data processing and validating pipelines
Implement data security, authentication and access management measures of the company’s proprietary database
Apply knowledge of computational and data manipulation packages as well as Relational Databases and Database Design
Build and maintain ETL processes and apply knowledge of cloud computing and storage services
Help implement and build recommendation systems that improve our product and user experience
Collaborate with the Software Engineering, Product and other functional teams

It’s a smart pitch as well as a unique one, inserting itself in payment cycles before debt and fees can be accrued. As of February 2023, the company had facilitated over $40 million in transactions mostly through organic growth, indicating a hunger for BNPL alternatives within the payments sector.
