The ideal candidate is a proven salesperson with a successful track record in selling audio/digital, a passion for podcasts, and experience in a fast-paced media environment. Confidence in presenting and relationship building is essential
Highly experienced with a proven track record of success selling to agency holding groups and brands directly
Experienced in a fast-paced media environment; podcast/audio sales experience is a plus
Well-versed in the programmatic advertising landscape with in-depth knowledge of current trends and developments in the digital ecosystem
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Possess 5+ years of experience in a media agency/online sales role
Passionate about podcasts!
Fluency in both French and English is an asset for this position

What the job involves

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic and innovative Toronto sales team as a quota-bearing seller
This role requires a confident and driven individual to manage a portfolio of key media agencies and brand relationships
Drive advertising revenue growth across your assigned agency and brand-direct portfolio
Evangelize, educate, and sell the Acast Marketplace – including Ads, Sponsorships, and Branded Content – through both direct IO and automated channels
Work collaboratively with various departments, including content, marketing, and finance
Collaborate with counterparts in other regions within the Acast global footprint
Represent Acast at events and serve as a brand ambassador
Manage activities using Salesforce
