Who you are

Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
1-3 years' experience in PCB-level hardware development
Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Experience with EE test equipment: o-scopes, function generators, power supplies, etc
Hands-on experience with PCB bring-up and troubleshooting involving microcontrollers
Python programming for data analysis and data collection automation
Ability to work cross‐functionally
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Results and deadline-driven
Able to work independently with little direction and multitask
Consummate team player
Takes great pride and ownership in designs

Desirable

Master's degree
Experience writing firmware and using associated tools
Experience making RF measurements

What the job involves

The Hardware Engineer will design computer vision-based sensors, working closely with our firmware team to verify products to meet specifications
Design board-level circuits - schematic capture and layout design
Work with firmware engineers to debug/test hardware
Performance characterization, data analysis, and report writing
Investigate, study, and implement new components
Troubleshoot field returns
Assemble and debug prototypes
Work closely with our development partners (JDM)
Develop hardware test plans
