Role
Who you are
- Educational Background: A completed legal degree (e.g., LL.B., J.D., or equivalent), graduated in the top 10 % of your class
- Commercial Law Experience: 2-5 years of experience in US-based lawfirm or legal department with focus on commercial, privacy, and corporate law; basic familiarity with contract law and legal terminology
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders—ideally in a B2B environment where legal, sales, and customer needs intersect
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing contracts, documentation, and legal processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and professionally across teams and with external partners—both in writing and verbally
- Organizational Talent: Strong ability to manage multiple requests, track documents, and maintain well-structured filing and contract systems
- Proactive & Independent Work Ethic: Comfortable handling standard legal tasks independently and knowing when to escalate more complex issues
- Collaboration Skills: Willingness and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams across different geographies and time zones
- Discretion & Integrity: High level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive legal matters and business information
- Curiosity & Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn about new legal topics, improve processes, and support a fast-growing legal function
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus, but not required
What the job involves
- Legal Point of Contact for U.S. Teams: Serve as the first legal contact for our U.S. sales and business teams, supporting them with day-to-day legal questions and contract workflows
- Contract Review & Drafting: Review, draft, and edit standard commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, DPAs) under U.S. law, escalating complex issues as needed
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct legal research on U.S. federal and state law topics, including commercial, privacy, employment, and corporate law
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Maintain and manage templates, track contract status, and ensure proper documentation and version control across tools and platforms
- Policy & Compliance Support: Assist in drafting, updating, and rolling out internal policies and compliance documentation, including conducting risk assessments
- Cross-Border Legal Collaboration: Work closely with legal colleagues in Germany and other regions to align on templates, workflows, and internal legal standards
- Legal Operations: Support legal department operations such as approval workflows, digital filing systems, signature processes, and internal reporting
- External Coordination: Liaise with external counsel, service providers, or vendors as required for specific matters or projects
- Knowledge Management: Help maintain legal knowledge bases and update internal guidance materials and playbooks to reflect current best practices
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes, increase automation, and support the scalability of the legal function

Organizing the ticketing for live and online events requires vast infrastructure, and therefore many event companies use online ticketing platforms. However, these platforms often only offer basic ticket design options and come with unfair charges that greatly reduce revenue for the company.
Vivenu provides a ticket sales management and marketing platform, focused on helping clients to customize the branding of tickets and their listings. The platform is designed to suit any scale of events company and uses a subscription pricing model to ensure that companies earn all of the revenue from the tickets they sell.
Whilst the company will face fierce competition from large ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster, Vivenu shows great potential to compete by identifying the need for a more customizable ticketing solution. Through its personalization capabilities, scalability, and zero-fee ticket transactions, the company aims to help any event company optimize sales and grow without losing profits to marketplaces.
