Role
Who you are
- 1-2 years of experience in an SDR role, preferably within SaaS
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding pipeline targets
- Strong communication skills across phone, LinkedIn, and email
- Creative problem-solving ability with strong analytical skills
- Drive and ambition to grow and advance within a sales team
Desirable
- Proficiency in Pipedrive or similar CRM software
- Familiarity with Sales Enablement tools like Apollo, Outreach, or similar
- Knowledge of sales methodologies (BANT, MEDDICC, etc.)
- Experience working in or with the public sector
- Understanding of complex sales cycles
- Familiarity with social impact products
What the job involves
- Represent Mind Of My Own’s products and services with in-depth knowledge and research to illustrate how our solutions can meet customer needs
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, identifying new opportunities to connect and support
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of engaged prospects, collaborating closely with sales executives to determine next steps
- Contribute to refining and evolving the company’s lead-generation strategies
- Leverage a range of B2B prospecting techniques to identify and engage new sales opportunities
- Understand prospect needs and personas, matching them with the right solutions
- Build trust and long-term relationships to qualify prospects as high-potential sales opportunities
- Seek new business opportunities proactively and approach new markets with a solutions mindset
- Coordinate meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives
- Report regularly to CEO, providing insights and updates on weekly, monthly, and quarterly achievements

Our take
Mind Of My Own has developed an app-led suite of products modernising the processes and systems used to gather the views of children using children’s services
Resources at organisations offering children’s services aren’t in limitless supply. Schools, healthcare, and social care settings are all seeing squeezed budgets, and the knock-on effects of this for young people can be hugely damaging. So it’s crucial that time and money is wisely spent - the only issue, historically, has been that the young people have been left largely out of the conversation
That’s an issue Mind Of My Own is trying to solve. The company works with young people to produce digital participation tools that help them communicate their lived experience to the professionals who provide education or care for them. The idea is to offer children as young as two years old, including those with additional needs, the ability to communicate their needs and feelings in whatever form they see fit, at any time. Professionals can then aggregate these results on a complementary analytics platform
The hope is that this will help schools and care settings allocate resources better, and potentially make substantial savings (both financial, and in terms of children’s wellbeing) through early prevention. The apps are used in over a third of local authorities in the UK
