Software Engineer, Twelve Labs

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience
• Designed production services using Python, Postgres, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic (and friends)
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead to deliver projects end to end
• Exposure to machine learning models in production environments (e.g. deployment, serving, lifecycle management, monitoring)

• Delivering highly reliable, low latency, high throughput services is the essence of the role
• This role is a perfect fit for experienced engineers with some past machine learning experience who want to go deep on unsolved problems in multimodal AI systems, orchestration, operations, and deployment
• Advance our industry-leading enterprise video solutions by incorporating already-great research into fault tolerant, low latency systems
• Craft performant APIs using modern Python tools
• Build the highest impact, not the flashiest, libraries and services
• Mentor junior engineers/researchers, and hold a high bar around code quality / engineering best practices
