What the job involves
- We are looking for a marketing intern to support early growth efforts for Grow, our new pediatric health testing initiative
- This role will focus on helping the team test early marketing channels and identify ways to reach parents looking for better answers about their children’s health
- The work will be focused on community-driven marketing, research, and early growth experiments leading up to launch
- Research where parents discover health information and communities
- Identify potential micro-influencers and creators
- Assist with messaging and marketing content
- Support community outreach and partnership opportunities
- Conduct competitor and market research
- Help track marketing experiments and performance
- Assist with early campaign execution

Our take
Summer Health is a pediatric care company that enables parents to get answers about their child's health from an expert in 15 minutes. A welcome departure from symptom checkers, which are infamous for panicking parents rather than informing them, the company's subscription service supplies access to certified paediatricians who supply more personalised answers.
The service works via text, with advice available 24/7, and also allows users to start and request chats with specific experts. This makes it a great hub for both emergencies and wider questions. Its a worthwhile proposition, and Summer Health has attracted significant investment. Its 2024 round will support both the expansion of distribution channels and its service offerings.
