What the job involves
- As a Presales Engineer, your mission is to provide strategic technical advisory to prospects, customers, and Rossumers
- You’ll be instrumental in securing sales wins
- You take ownership of the customer’s technical journey through the sales cycle—analyzing customer needs, running discovery sessions and demonstrations, and implementing end-to-end proofs of concept
- Your impact directly influences customer decisions
- Our team bridges the gap between the GTM organization and the technical teams
- You’ll influence product development by providing strategic feedback and implementing ad hoc solutions that may evolve into product features
- Leading in-depth technical discovery to map out complex customer processes and design tailored solutions
- Delivering compelling, customized presentations and demos that tell a story rather than list features
- Explaining complex technical and architectural concepts simply and clearly to business stakeholders
- Tackling technical challenges—from scripting to system configuration—while finding answers to unknowns
- Collaborating closely with Product, Research, Services, and Management teams to provide customer feedback and strategic insights
- Owning the customer technical journey, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle
- Embracing change, quick feedback loops, and continuous iterative improvement
- Performing cost/benefit and risk/benefit analyses on sales opportunities

Every day, companies must scrape information from documents and communicate it with their teams and clients, ranging from physical paperwork to digital spreadsheets and PDFs. Whilst necessary, this process is highly repetitive and time-consuming, and these laborious workflows make document communication prone to human error.
Rossum provides an automated document communication platform, leveraging AI to capture data from any physical or digital document format and automate the communication of said data to relevant parties. This automates repetitive manual processes within invoicing, logistics, shared services, and other enterprise workflows, ultimately helping to improve communication accuracy whilst saving companies valuable time and resources.
While AI-driven data capture from documents is common, Rossum stands out by also automating the communication of captured data to relevant recipients. This approach enables the company to prevent the manual processing of up to 90% of the document communication process, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency.
