- Curiosity and attention to detail across deals, deal cycles, objection handling - and a leadership style to drive teams to create repeatable rigor to do the same
- Significant general management and P&L experience
- Experience with growth channel management and digital media
- History of decision-making based on business metrics
- Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach to drive team ownership
- 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing the above
What the job involves

- We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Office (CRO) to join us on this mission, with a focus on strategic planning, sales, marketing, global brand equity, and partnerships
- Together with other members of the executive team, you will execute the current corporate strategic plan, focusing on expansion to new customer segments and partnerships, while ultimately strengthening sales operations
- You will also be instrumental in creating future strategic plans with the goal of boosting new revenue streams
- Partner with other members of the executive team to execute the current corporate strategic plan, and develop future plans
- Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization’s revenue-generating departments
- Manage a global sales team and marketing team (Content and Performance) that can drive new business growth across all customer segments and profiles
- Help maximize reach and efficiency by incorporating agency and partner engagement
- Represent Kochava as a spokesperson - augmenting our bench of leaders who can communicate on behalf of the company as an executive
- Build and foster a focus toward continuing our culture of innovation
- Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, supporting pipelines of signal for competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics
- Stay well-connected with prospects & customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle
- Collaborate with business unit GM’s, finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue growth goals
- Identify and resolve issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions
Our take
Kochava’s mobile data attribution analytics platform allows advertisers and publishers to access and unify omni-channel data to optimize their marketing efforts. Since its foundation in 2011, the company has steadily grown into one of the market leaders in its industry, and now counts some major brands among its customers including Airbnb, Audible, McDonalds, and NBC.
The online ad industry was dealt a blow in 2021 when Apple changed its iPhone privacy protections, making it difficult to track ad performance. However, while many companies lost out, Kochava saw its revenue soar by developing new tools to continue gaining insights.
The company has also done well by partnering with in-game ad companies such as Anzu, with the in-game ads market alone expected to generate close to $15B annually in the coming years.
Given Kochava’s track record of quickly adapting to market needs and rolling out new solutions, as well as its footprint in the US, Europe, East Asia and Southeast Asia (where the tech industry is booming), a period of sustained growth looks pretty likely.
