Role
Who you are
- 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in a revenue-generating role, ideally in Proptech or Multifamily Real Estate
- Ideally you have strong existing relationships with key decision-makers within Multifamily real estate
- Proven track record of successfully managing and closing complex deals and exceeding quota on a consistent basis
- Experience prospecting and closing new business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as product, marketing, and customer success to deliver tailored solutions for prospects and clients
- Excellent organizational skills and process-oriented approach to sales
- Highly self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Help bring Commercial Real Estate into the 21st Century - mapping customers’ key issues to our solution
- Become an expert on the VTS product suite and value proposition - focus on driving tenant experience outcomes
- Present to C-level executives on the value of the VTS solution through product demonstrations in person and via web tools
- Represent VTS and evangelize our vision through in-market events, industry groups, and CRE specific initiatives
- Prospect, nurture, and close new business
- Accurately forecast and execute on quarterly revenue targets
- Negotiate pricing and sales contracts to close new business while navigating multiple decision makers
- Work closely with sales, account management, and customer support teams to ensure our customers are successful
- Form relationships with senior decision makers, asset managers, and brokers at the top real estate firms across the country, with some travel expected (approximately once a month) to meet with clients in-person

Commercial real estate is a difficult business sector to plan for, especially for the largest firms managing huge portfolios of prime office space. Marketing, leasing, data analytics and retention efforts have traditionally required an array of different solutions, often poorly integrated with one another (if at all), and decision-making is often stymied by inaccurate reporting and inflexible, clunky tools.
VTS, a leading player in the commercial real estate tech sector, seeks to change this by unifying every real estate asset and function in a single platform. Combining marketing, asset management and reporting functions into a single interface, it also delivers data insights for decision makers to inform their investment and asset strategies.
VTS's user base has grown to over 45,000 commercial real estate firms including Blackstone, Brookfield Properties, and LaSalle Investment Management, and about 60% of the US's top quality office space is managed through its platform. Having raised a significant amount of funding it is investing heavily in research and development, sourcing strategic acquisitions and hiring additional talent.
