- 4+ years of experience in an HR/People Ops role at a startup or high-growth company
- Familiarity with Rippling and Greenhouse
- High ownership mentality and ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities
- Strong communication and coordination skills. Great with candidates, teammates, and vendors alike
- Working knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HR best practices
- Bonus: Experience supporting multi-state or global teams

- We’re looking for a People Ops Generalist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.
- This is a hybrid role that blends HR operations with light recruiting coordination— perfect for someone who loves supporting the full employee lifecycle, from first interview to first day (and beyond).

- Own core HR operations. Manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, immigration, payroll, and day-to-day people ops tasks
- Support recruiting efforts. Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a smooth experience from application to offer
- Be the first line of support. Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, answering questions and guiding them through policies, leave administration, and HR processes
- Partner cross-functionally. Work with leadership on performance review cycles, engagement initiatives, and other people program that drive a high-performing culture
- Level up the employee experience. Create thoughtful onboarding experiences and help foster a high-performing culture
- Keep us compliant. Stay up to date with employment laws and ensure our policies and practices are up to standard across states
Our take
Increased interest in alternative assets has resulted in an unexpected boom in the collectables market, as more people are seeking to diversify their portfolios. Alt is a trading and portfolio management platform capitalizing on this exciting new upswing, making it simple to buy and sell investment-grade trading cards.
Initially dealing exclusively with sports cards, the company’s platform has expanded to include other trading card types, ranging from Pokémon to Yu-Gi-Oh! Alt sets itself apart from the competition by offering its users a vast range of attractive options, such as no buyer premiums, cash advances, Alt Vault card storage and borrowing options.
By tackling the three key problems hobbling the uptake of alternative asset investments (liquidity, price transparency, and physical storage) Alt’s success certainly opens the door for further expansion into different assets like art and sneakers, ushering in a new model for alternative asset markets.
