Role
Who you are
- You’ve recently graduated (or are in the final stages of your degree) in Law, and ideally have previous internship experience in corporate or commercial law
- You’re eager to gain practical experience and understand how legal frameworks apply to real business challenges
- You are organized and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for process
- You are a team player, willing to support multiple stakeholders and handle a range of legal-administrative tasks without losing focus
- You are proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or take ownership of your work
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (or in the final year of your studies)
- Strong interest in corporate, commercial, and/or real estate law
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Native-level Spanish and professional proficiency in English
- Based in Spain, with availability for in-office work if required
What the job involves
- This is a newly created position within our legal and operations team, responding to the increasing volume of legal tasks required to support our corporate structure and project origination activities in Spain
- As a Legal Intern, you will help streamline legal processes
- This internship will give you hands-on experience with real legal work in a fast-paced, high-impact business environment
- You will work closely with our legal, operations, and origination teams, gaining insight into both corporate and commercial law in practice
- You will be reporting directly to a team member in the Spain team with a dotted line report to our lead counsel in GB (who leads/heads up on international legal for Field)
- Assisting with pre-contractual documentation, including information requests, review, and digital archiving
- Drafting initial versions of commercial agreements, particularly with landlords, to initiate negotiation processes
- Updating and maintaining our contact database and a contract management system to ensure the contracts are centrally saved with a clause summary and key dates.
- Support in administrative procedures for the development of the projects, such as the deposit of guarantees in general funds and/or their cancellation and recovery
- Liaising with head office legal on updating templates for powers of attorneys, resolutions etc. for the setting up of new companies
- Initiate and following up on deeds, powers of attorney, and Company House registrations, including retrieval of official physical copies when needed and visits and phone calls to the relevant notaries and authorities
- Managing the lifecycle of tax identification numbers, including applications, follow-ups, and handling physical documentation
- Liaising with the head office legal team in GB to draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and maintaining NDA tracking logs
- Helping maintain our legal archive, both physical and digital, ensuring documentation is organized, compliant, and accessible
