Associate/Mechanical Engineer, Epirus

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to design complex mechanical assemblies in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team

Desirable

• In this role, you will design electromechanical assemblies, mechanisms, and large structures – following designs through their full lifecycle. Successful candidates use their creativity and engineering knowledge to develop innovative mechanical solutions as we push the edges of high-power microwave technology
• You will have a hands-on role in designing, building, and testing mechanical designs ranging from small electronics packages to large actuated systems
• Design and build RF-phased array structures and electronic packages as part of a cross-functional product design team
• Design harnesses, cables, and interconnects for large electronics assemblies and vehicle-mounted systems
• Perform thermal and structural analyses to validate designs
• Create CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Collaborate with the operations team to build and manufacture products and drive quality with speed and accuracy
• Develop and execute environmental testing
