Who you are
- Degree in accounting (BTS or DUT)
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and best practices
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Agile/flexible mindset
- Fluent in English
What the job involves
- As a Finance Junior, you’ll be involved in many of the company’s financial operations
- You will take part in drawing up budgets, analyzing financial data, and you will help prepare financial reports
- You’ll work closely with both the financial team and the operational teams
- Monthly closing:
- Preparation of inventory entries sent to cabinets
- Preparation of the TB and the P&L for the operational entities
- Initial review of tax returns (VAT, TS, etc.)
- Review of monthly P&L and B/S of some entities
- Upload of accounts in “finance database”
- (WIP) Booking of vendors entries in the accounting system for french entities
- Payments:
- Manage all the process with regards to invoices in Regate for all our entities (checks of invoices, analytical affectation and approval by relevant stakeholders)
- Manage payments (upload) for vendors invoices, expenses, payroll of all our entities (UK, FRA, POL)
- Budget/Controlling:
- Preparation of monthly business review with budget owners
- Working on budget templates
- Ad-hoc topics:
- Assistance with financing applications (bank loans, Innov subsidies, etc.)

Traditionally, trading apps have simply been about trading stocks. This may not sound like something which can be disrupted, but Shares is banking on the exact opposite being true. Their product is fundamentally a trading app, but offers something unique: users can carry out social functions, such as live chats, from within the app itself. This combined approach, known as “social trading”, is what sets Shares apart.
Shares has generated impressive funding, including one of Europe's largest ever pre-product seed rounds. These funds will allow the company to continue expansion across Europe and add further social-first community features to its platform. It is also pursuing the launch of a crypto-asset proposition.
