Who you are
- 🌍 Above all, you must have a proven passion for all things sustainability and be excited by our mission to make travel effortlessly green
- 🧙 The ideal candidate for this role has previously worked in sales at a high-growth SaaS software company
- 🧑🔧 2+ years of closing software deals
- 🪄A clear hunger and ability to talk to seasoned corporate procurement teams and technology buyers
- 🤘 Experience and confidence working effectively with Hubspot, including planning and forecasting accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis
- ⚡️ Excellent listening and communication skills
- 👏 A keen desire to absorb team members’ input and feedback whilst supporting your colleagues to grow
What the job involves
- 🧑🔧 Progress and support qualified in-bound partnership opportunities and, ultimately, closing deals with household name brands like Amazon
- 🧑🎨 An eye for detail, ensuring all our supporting documents are powerful, evocative and customer benefit driven
- 🕺 Devise and conduct regular engagement sessions and training for Channel Partners, fostering strong, ongoing relationships and continuous learning
- 💪 Working effectively in a growing sales team, with strong characters
Our take
In a time when businesses are leaning into emissions and sustainability tracking, they are coming to expect accurate data from their partners. Catering to this, Thrust Carbon supplies a platform for travel management companies and buyers in the travel trade to calculate and report on the carbon emissions of their corporate travel programs and products.
Thrust Carbon's platform is comprehensive; delivering carbon calculation, sustainability data embedding, and tools to visualise and mitigate impact. The idea is to support its clients in empowering their own customers to make more sustainable choices, and to offset unavoidable emissions.
The company has already begun to make a name for itself, securing two of the top 10 corporate travel buyers as clients in 2023. It has also partnered with Travelogix, integrating its carbon calculator into the travel data solution provider's offerings. Thrust Carbon's next focus is on growing the business, which will see it invest in building out its team moving forwards.
