Who you are
- Possess 3+ years of relevant experience in a Customer Success or similar customer-facing function
- Have a good understanding of paid digital advertising (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google and programmatic)
- Are highly empathetic, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help our customers reach their goals
- Have a results-driven mentality, with a bias for action and collaboration
- Are able to explain complex concepts clearly and translate data into insights
- Have strong spoken and written communication skills in English
- Are able and willing to travel for quarterly business reviews, conferences and industry events as required
What the job involves
- As a Customer Success Manager at Smartly, you'll take ownership of your own customers from the first week; give consultative advice, scope and drive successful product adoption and grow customer engagement. You will function as the crucial link between customers, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok and our product development team
- As a CSM, you’ll get a front row seat to the fast-paced online marketing industry, which will allow you to learn quickly about growing and nurturing your own book of business, managing customer relationships with large advertisers, and scaling the operations of an ambitious growth company
- At Smartly, we connect creative and media workflows by using intelligent automation to make it easy and fast to produce and optimize ad creative, automate campaign management and provide best in class integrated reporting and intelligence across all digital channels
- Manage and nurture your own customer accounts through day-to-day communication and online marketing expertise
- Identify opportunities for increased product adoption and align Smartly’s product value with the customer’s wider marketing objectives
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of the Smartly tool and the digital ecosystem in general so that you're constantly able to solve customers' problems
- Build, manage and develop strong relationships with customers and platform partners including Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and Google
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product developers, to maintain the quick feedback loop between customers and product
Our take
Smartly.io helps advertisers automate their campaigns across the largest media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. After seeing quick success following Facebook’s 2012 IPO, the company now works with over 700 brands including eBay, Uber, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour and TechStyle.
Its suite of tools automatically creates ads and videos from product images - handling budget allocation and audience targeting, as well as analysing where and when to purchase advertising. Consequently, Smartly.io has positioned itself to play a leading role in a market where brand and performance work are converging.
Smartly.io sold a majority stake to Providence Equity Partners in 2019 in a move to further its presence in the US. The company has since gone on to make several acquisitions of its own with Viralspace.ai and Ad-Lib.io. Smartly.io's ability to adapt to evolving advertising trends supports its continued growth, and its introduction of AI-powered intelligence across its platform shows it is keeping up with technology trends too.
