Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of product management experience in delivering Enterprise or cloud security products
- Proficient technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of secrets management, IAM, cloud security, and the overall security landscape
- Experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to organize multiple stakeholders towards a common goal
- Strong user and market research skills
- Experience working with Product Marketing in Go to Market strategy and field enablement
- Ability to deliver products with a focus on user experience
- Experience with B2B SaaS products and/or services preferred
- Devise the product roadmap and strategy
- Draft product requirement documents (PRDs)
- Participate in detailed product discovery and user research
- Collaborate extensively with Engineering teams
- Spearhead sales engineer and support education sessions
- Conduct customer interviews

What the job involves
- HashiCorp is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Vault Radar team and lead initiatives to tackle secret sprawl challenges for our customers
- You will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the Secrets Lifecycle Management experience. Radar is the newest product in the HashiCorp product portfolio and this is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing HashiCorp PM team
- Craft the product story by understanding the landscape, user needs, and HashiCorp principles
- Write detailed strategy documents to set the context for the product roadmap
- Prioritize the product roadmap with feedback from customers and partners
- Conduct user research and write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to distill the research into requirements for engineering to deliver
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales in delivering the compelling capabilities to our customers
- Communicate product status to all partners. Keep sales and marketing updated on feature releases and keep engineering informed on feature requests
