Who you are
- Intermediate to fluent working knowledge of French & English will be vital to the success of this role

- Ability to work for a 2-year term (for apprentices) and a 6-month term (for interns)
- A strong working knowledge and/or fluency in both French & English (note - close collaboration with both French and US-based team members will be required for this role)

What the job involves
- We are looking for an intern or an apprentice to join our dynamic & international EU brand marketing team to help with operational tasks related to influencer campaigns, long term ambassador partnerships, PR & events
- The goal of this role is to engage in initiatives to increase brand awareness, and drive consideration for key products + new product launches
- This is a central role in the marketing team, working primarily on the French, German, and UK markets, with some opportunities to work on brand marketing projects for the Australian & Indian markets
- This is a central role in the marketing team, which will have a direct and measurable impact on the company's success in Europe
- This team member will report to the Brand & Communications Team Lead & will be based out of our French office in Issy-les-moulineaux, in the suburbs of Paris
- Help with operational tasks under the close guidance of the Brand & Comms team related to…
- Influencers and long-term ambassador partners
- Eg: do benchmarks on the influencer market, prepare unboxing gifting experiences for influencers, help prepare influencer and ambassador briefing decks
- Events:
- Eg: order team apparel for events, order event goodies, print leaflets, ship marketing materials, help run product experiences during events
- Help manage the internal communication with team members prior to and during (eg: create team email group, share tips / updates / reminders)
- Press:
- Eg: send product samples to reporters, work cross functionally to find the answer to questions reporters have about the Withings brand & products
- You will report to the B2C Brand Marketing Team Leader and work cross-functionally with other brand marketing team members managing PR, advertising, influence & partnerships, as well as the broader marketing & sales teams (studio & content, retail sales, CRM, product marketing, web)
Our take
Withings have been merging stylish design with IoT-connected health since 2009. Spanning engineering, data science, and healthcare, the Parisian company are behind products such as the Apple-connected Body Smart scales which includes an “eyes closed” mode, hiding the weight from the user but harvesting the data to keep tabs on health.
Withings was the first company to release such smart-scale products and has expanded its offerings over time. Other products in the Withings range include hybrid watches, blood pressure monitors, and sleep analysis tools.
Though working within a crowded market, the maturity of Withings has meant that it has years of experience behind it and has grown its team steadily over time. With considerable funding, the company now has offices across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
