Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in designing software products that customers love
  • A compelling portfolio that showcases your ability to deliver successful products, demonstrating proficiency in user-centered design methods, storytelling, data visualization, and interaction design
  • A collaborative spirit capable of engaging effectively with designers, engineers, and leaders, characterized by clarity, openness, and curiosity
  • A knack for simplifying complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
  • An ability to design for the long term while also iterating quickly to realize initial visions
  • A strong advocate for evidence-based design, experienced in both generative and evaluative research methods
  • Experience with developing design systems and visual frameworks that meet modern usability standards
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, largely autonomous environment
  • Experience in mentoring designers and enhancing design craft and quality
  • Preference for candidates with Enterprise SaaS / B2B software design experience
  • A keen interest in addressing challenges in the ad tech industry

What the job involves

  • We're looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Designer who will help us make mobile ad-tech more accessible to advertisers and publishers by designing innovative user experiences.
  • You’ll take ownership of large areas of our core product, and be responsible for design at every stage of product development from concept to stakeholder alignment, through launch, and beyond.
  • As one of the early members on the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the design team culture and practice, and represent design as a key strategic partner in the product development process.
  • This position will be based out of our Redwood City headquarters
  • Our product has gained significant traction due to its robust performance and technology.
  • To further our customer growth, we're doubling down on design to enhance intuitiveness and ease of use, aiding our users in making informed decisions. Your expertise as a seasoned designer will be crucial in driving these initiatives
  • Work closely with PMs, engineers, and cross functional teams to define and design the product experiences for Moloco Ads, our core product and the largest revenue driver
  • Adopt a customer-centric design approach, utilizing insights from generative and evaluative user research and testing to shape design choices
  • Build deep customer empathy and inspire cross functional teams to enhance their understanding of our customers
  • Work alongside both design and engineering teams to define, craft and evolve our design system, creating a unified experience across platforms and customer touchpoints
  • Elevate the design practice
  • Mentor other designers
  • Your influence on the product vision, customer interaction, and the new ways companies can leverage machine learning for growth will be profound
