Role
Who you are
- Completed or is in the final year of university, preferably with a focus on business or marketing
- Commitment to join a minimum 12-months internship program
- Experience working within in the digital marketing or affiliate Industry
- Experience of client-facing interactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
What the job involves
- We have a fantastic internship opportunity on our Business Development team to gain experience and develop knowledge of this much sought after specialism in Marketing and Commerce Content working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- You will have the opportunity to work closely with different teams in the company from Commercial, to Marketing, Product, Legal, Network Quality and more
- The Publisher Development Intern is based in London and reports to the Senior Director, Publisher Account Management
- The Intern will work on business development initiatives and gain experience and develop knowledge of Affiliate Marketing and Commerce Content while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- The BD Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with different teams in the company from Commercial, to Marketing and Product
- Work with the Commercial team at Skimlinks for APAC and EMEA region to support the onboarding and execution of optimisation campaigns
- A first point of contact to ensure business as usual, gaining valuable experience in client management and communication
- Update internal platforms and communicate across teams to showcase sprinters and blockers - building experience in a complex cross matrix organisation, and communicating accountability
- Enable collaboration across the commercial team learning stakeholder management and priorities
- Work with the Revenue Success Director to find efficiencies and automations showing influence in workflow efficiencies and revenue impact

Connexity is a marketing technology company that operates an online retail and e-commerce advertising network. Connexity, which was first founded as Shopzilla, offers online sellers and publishers a means of building revenue and finding new customers without having to sell data to big-name advertising and discovery brands, namely Google and Facebook.
Over the years, Connexity has accumulated a number of related businesses, including Become.com, Skimlinks and PriceGrabber. It covers various activities including affiliate links, influencer marketing, in-stream advertising, and shopping search ads. This has led to over 800 million shopping leads, and billions in sales for its customers (particularly impressive as the e-commerce world continues to struggle to keep online consumers' attention). Its customers include Walmart, Wayfair, Skechers, Macy’s, eBay and Otto.
In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
