Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Experience: 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience preferred; U.S. GAAP experience is a plus
- Experience working in an accounting function within a large enterprise general ledger (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial data with discretion
What the job involves
- Manage A/R billing and collection. Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Prepare and monitor A/R dashboards and reports including aging, reconciliations and collection reports. Communicating internally and with customers to resolve issues and past due amounts
- Prepare, post and reconcile period end closing journal entries for P&L and balance sheet accounts including cash and accounts payable
- Experience in building schedules, processes, reconciliations and flux analysis
- Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify, standardize and scale our business
- Document accounting process and internal control
- Coordinate and assist with requests from internal and external auditors
