Role
Who you are
- Experience: 0-2 years in a sales role (SDR, cold calling, or prospecting experience is a plus)
- Prospecting Skills: Strong ability to cold call, generate leads, and prospect across channels (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Operational Excellence: Detail-oriented and disciplined in managing tasks and pipeline in a CRM like Salesforce
- Resilience & Grit: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection; motivated to learn and improve
- Quick Learner: Eager to understand DoorLoop’s product and confidently address prospect needs
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales automation tools (Outreach, HubSpot) is a plus

- We are looking for a driven, operationally-minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the front line in prospecting, lead generation, and qualification efforts
- This role is ideal for someone eager to jumpstart their sales career by mastering both inbound and outbound sales development
- The SDR will play a pivotal role in driving growth by handling a high volume of inbound leads and proactively reaching out to prospects via outbound strategies. The ideal candidate will be success-driven, disciplined, and operationally sharp, excelling in cold calling, prospecting, and lead qualification
- This role is the gateway to more advanced sales roles, suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves engaging with potential customers
- Inbound Lead Handling: Quickly respond to inbound leads, qualify them, and move them efficiently through the pipeline
- Outbound Prospecting: Use cold calls, emails, and social media to engage potential customers and build your own pipeline
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ pain points, needs, and potential fit for DoorLoop’s solutions
- Cold Calling: Proactively cold call prospects to generate interest, qualify leads, and schedule demos with Account Executives (AEs)
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed notes in the CRM (Salesforce), track key metrics, and ensure data accuracy
- Hit & Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly quotas for qualified leads, discovery calls, and booked meetings

Our take
Thanks to a push for innovation in the real estate sector, property management software has developed into quite a crowded market. DoorLoop is a relatively new entrant competing against long-time players like AppFolio, RealPage, and Yardi. It’s what makes DoorLoop’s rapid growth quite so remarkable - the software has been taken up by tens of thousands of customers worldwide since its public launch in 2021.
Compared to DoorLoop, older incumbents are failing to meet the kind of onboarding efficiency that customers expect, as well as providing fewer integrations and a lower standard of customer service. DoorLoop's flexibility and responsiveness in particular has been well-received by its customers.
DoorLoop closed a Series A funding round in 2022 led by Alpine Software Group. Currently targeting the mid-sized property management market of customers who manage up to 10,000 units, it is planning to boost its brand recognition to lure larger customers away from its rivals. It is also planning to double its headcount and expand internationally to further grow its market share.
