Who you are

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a software engineer or deployment engineer
Proven experience as a software engineer or in a similar role within the technology industry
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
Experience with manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and react
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward issue resolution
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

What the job involves

The Deployment Engineering team combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs and business objectives to contribute to the successful development, deployment and evolution of our software and product
In this role, you will work with some of the most critical organizations in the world to deploy AI in production
You’ll help build, maintain, test, and innovate on Luminai’s core product offering for our customers
As an early member of the engineering team, you will have an immense impact on our product and customers
You’ll also play a foundational role in strategic decisions, delivering immediate value and redefining what’s possible for customers with our unique automation technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning and strategy development
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with business objectives and user requirements
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on software products and applications
Utilize manual and automated testing techniques to ensure the highest level of test coverage
Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly
Build and maintain automated workflows for customers
Work directly with customers to gather requirements and understand their automation needs
Actively participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings with development and product teams
Effectively communicate progress, results, and any roadblocks to project stakeholders
Identify areas for process improvement within the Deployment Engineering team and contribute to the enhancement of engineering practices and methodologies

Our take

Luminai, formerly known as Digital Brain, was founded in 2020 by two graduates of the Y Combinator scheme. The company helps sales reps and customer service agents automate their workflows to ultimately save time on internal processes.

Though the founders may be fresh faces in the tech industry, Luminai has already received Series A funding and has clients including Carta, Oura, and Strava.

The funding will be used to expand the go-to-market team and product capabilities in order to attract customers of all company sizes. This will be crucial in maintaining momentum and setting itself apart in the market.
