Solutions Architect, Amazon

• The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in space domain expertise, software architecture, systems design, and cloud/distributed computing as well as strong business/customer facing skills
• The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Desirable

• Do you get excited by aerospace, space exploration, and/or satellites? If so, then we would love to talk!
• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements
• Ideation of new managed services streams and unique solutions that positions AWS as a lead provider
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform
• Hands on responsibilities: PoCs execution, solution development (testing, documentation, training), device certification (if required)
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides, develop courses, and trainings
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
• Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running, and managing solutions on AWS with AWS communities
• Contribute to AWS’ strategy and understanding of the market orchestrate internal teams to provide solution and new revenue streams
