Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a highly-driven and results-oriented Sr. Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing sales team
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years experience in a quota-bearing sales role, ideally in outbound fast-growing SaaS environment
- Outstanding high-velocity prospecting muscles; you can flex and incorporate creative outreach solutions to get things done
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas in a high-performance sales team
- Superb communications and influencing skills; must be able to present and build rapport with all levels and functions of an organization
- Driven to excel in a fast-paced, fun, start-up environment where you are consultative in nature and can navigate the complexities and needs of various clients, their size, industry, and lifecycle
- Comfortable with change in a high-growth organization: ability to demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, adapt quickly and be effective in new situations in a highly dynamic setting
- Start-up mentality; you are team-oriented, a self starter, resilient, empathetic, and no ego
What the job involves
- You will develop, acquire, grow, and evangelize Firework’s innovative SaaS solutions to large enterprise brands across a variety of industries
- You thrive identifying and closing key opportunities with large enterprise customers, driving revenue growth, and contributing to our rapid expansion
- Own the full sales cycle; identify, prospect, and engage with potential customers to qualify and generate new business opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals with enterprise clients
- Work cross-functionally with the team to set priorities, develop, and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue opportunities within assigned territories
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers at target companies
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and customized proposals that address customer requirements
- Partner closely with all internal functions to prioritize and manage the entire sales funnel process from initial interest to negotiation and close; align with Customer Success on strategies to ensure successful integration post-acquisition (full cycle)
- Continuously assess the entire go-to-market process help shape product development and scale efficiently while delivering an outstanding product and service experience
- Track and analyze sales performance, using data to optimize strategies and exceed targets
Our take
Live-streamed shopping has long been popular in China. In 2020, the first 30 minutes of Alibaba’s Singles’ Day presales campaign on Taobao Live generated an impressive $7.5 billion in total transaction value. Firework is helping to bring these kinds of video-based eCommerce experiences to a Western audience with a smart commercial strategy.
Originally launched as a standalone social platform featuring swipe-able web stories, Firework made a strategic shift towards a more streamlined B2B model. It now provides services to partners by granting them access to its video technology infrastructure, enabling them to effortlessly launch diverse and interactive shippable videos on their respective websites. The outcome of this pivot has paid off, with Firework emerging as the leading global platform of its kind.
The real money in shoppable videos is ultimately live-streamed experiences, which are still not landing for American audiences. Despite this, Firework’s more complete offering, including the ability to directly collect consumer data and learn about a shopper’s behaviour, means that American brands are giving the startup business ahead of this anticipated cultural shift.
