Role
Who you are
- Experience with Xero is a must
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a finance team
- Previous experience in both accounts payable and receivable
- Previous experience and understanding of balance sheet reconciliations
- Month-end close experience reviewing and preparing accruals and prepayments
- Strong knowledge of general ledger systems and financial reconciliation processes
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Passionate about animals
What the job involves
- Oversee all bank reconciliations
- Oversee the processing of AP and AR
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Managing 2 new P&L’s
- Preparing accruals and prepayments
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Assist in the production of monthly accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Helping to set up and manage a new PO system
