Who you are

- 5+ years of experience working in an internationally/nationally-recognized law firm representing public companies or in-house legal department at a public company (a mix of both would be ideal)
- Significant experience with public company reporting obligations
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to interact with internal and external constituents at all levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Very well organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines
- Ability to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle complexity and demands with a sense of urgency
- This position requires access to export controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization, or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency
What the job involves
- Prepare and review Section 16 filings and assist with stock ownership and issuance matters, including 10b5-1 trading plans, legal opinions, communication with transfer agents, stock plan administrators, and registered shareholders
- Assist with the preparation of the proxy statement, and annual meeting materials
- Collaborate cross functionally, including with the equity, finance, and tax teams
- Actively track important deadlines and tasks and provide support for other special projects and departmental matters
Our take
Many cloud service providers can suffer from slow prediction speeds when they are used for data modeling. CoreWeave solves this problem with its specialized cloud service provider.
CoreWeave reduces prediction times and makes service requests faster and more efficient. This, in turn, cuts cloud costs considerably. This has proven to be a strong draw for many companies, with CoreWeave signing a lucrative partnership with GPU heavyweight NVIDIA as well as partnering with BitOoda, which has allowed it to expand its operations to the financial market.
However, in 2023 it closed three very significant rounds of funding (Series B and debt and secondary extensions), which is being invested into expanding its US-based data centers, opening two new ones in the coming year. The question remains whether, despite 2023's big investments in the sector, CoreWeave can maintain this momentum and whether generative AI's stock will continue to rise.
