What the job involves
- We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and develop relationships with a variety of European accounts, focusing on the commodities sector.
- You’ll be working directly with key stakeholders in large enterprise organisations, such as Directors and Senior Managers to ensure they grow their accounts and expand revenue generation.
- We’re looking for someone who excels in upselling, cross-selling and leveraging existing relationships to identify new opportunities across various departments within these organisations
- Manage and nurture relationships with accounts in the commodities sectors to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
- Initiate and lead discussions with key stakeholders, including directors and senior managers, to identify business needs and opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives by exploring opportunities within existing accounts, including new departments and services
- Collaborate with Account Development Representatives to leverage leads and insights from existing clients
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings to effectively position the company’s solutions
