What the job involves
- Operational Risk is central to how we protect our business, our people, and our customers. You will sit within our Group Risk team and play a part in shaping the strategy and future direction of Operational Risk globally. You'll help embed risk practices, promote innovation, and ensure our frameworks are fit for purpose
- This role is a hybrid role based in Nottingham or London reporting into the Global Head of Operational Risk
- Lead the development and evolution of our Operational Risk strategy and frameworks
- Oversee and maintain Group Operational Risk Policies and Standards (e.g., RCSA, Loss Events, Issues Management)
- Partner with global teams to embed risk practices and escalate concerns
- Promote innovation through the use of AI and new technologies to enhance risk reporting and insights
- Lead training and awareness programs to build risk capability across the organisation
- Collaborate with the Archer Centre of Excellence to enhance risk tooling and systems
- Produce high-quality executive-level risk reports and updates for senior leadership
- Ensure quality assurance and governance across all Operational Risk data
