Role
Who you are
- 1-3 years of experience in a client facing role with a strong interest and willingness to develop in the AI space
- Comfort working with unstructured data and a strong instinct for translating ambiguity into structure
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM-based workflows (hands-on experience preferred but not required)
- Experience with customer service or project management tooling such as Monday.com, Pylon, Jira, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Detail-oriented with a high bar for accuracy, especially in data-sensitive environments
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment is a plus
What the job involves
- We're looking for an analyst to sit at the intersection of client enablement, prompt engineering, and operations
- You'll be the expert who translates messy, unstructured contract data into clean, structured outputs, and the trusted partner merchants rely on to make that process work seamlessly
- This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll engage directly with merchants to understand their contracts and requirements, engineer and refine the extraction prompts that power their workflows, and help build the internal tooling that scales our capabilities over time
- You'll also work closely with our human-in-the-loop (HITL) team to ensure quality and efficiency across every extraction
- Merchant Onboarding and Calibration: Partner with new and existing merchants to deeply understand their contract structures, billing logic, and data requirements. Translate those requirements into precise extraction prompts that deliver accurate, structured outputs
- Prompt Engineering: Own the design, testing, and iteration of prompts used to extract data from complex, unstructured contracts. Continuously refine based on merchant feedback and edge cases
- Merchant Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract extraction across a portfolio of merchants. Build trust, manage escalations, and proactively surface opportunities to improve their experience
- HITL Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day workflows of our human-in-the-loop review team. Set quality standards, manage throughput, and identify opportunities to automate recurring review tasks
- Process Improvement: Document workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across the Contract Intelligence team

Tabs' AI-powered accounts receivable platform empowers B2B businesses to optimize their AR processes, saving them time, improving cash flow and reducing the rate of billing errors. The platform is able to do this because its AI is capable of reading and understanding commercial contracts, which until now required the eye of an experienced finance professional.
The company already boasts a number of clients such as Pelago, Findigs and Volta. And a 2024 influx of funding has set the company up for further development and growth, and cements it as one to watch.
