Role
Who you are
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and eager to learn about building brand presence online
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program related to Marketing, History, English, Journalism, Communications, or a similar field
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
- Good writing and communication skills
- Video and photography skills is a plus
- Creative and eager to learn
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus
- The right candidate will experience the most success in this role, will have a START-UP mindset and is interested in growing with the company from a ground floor opportunity
What the job involves
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team
- Assist in managing and scheduling posts on various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages
- Help create appealing content—including text, images, and basic graphics
- Monitor social media trends and implement ideas for content
- Assist in analyzing social media metrics to gauge success and areas for improvement
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
