- Content & Asset Delivery Master – has produced high quality customer-facing content and field assets to strategically evangelize key messages
- Enterprise software background – worked at B2B technology companies where they were selling into large enterprises
- Cross-functional collaboration – can work with product, engineering, marketing, and sales organizations to develop a GTM plan that delivers a revenue number
- Kaizen Captain – Ability to generate new or improved ideas, approaches, products or solutions and persuade others to support, build, and adopt them
- Strategic Influencer – Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, driving execution of a plan in a global organization with conflicting priorities
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager capable of taking new innovations across the Zuora Platform to market – your job is to arm our field, partners, and customers with stories, plays, and messaging that position Zuora’s offerings for new and existing customers
- This integral member of the Product Marketing team at Zuora will partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to turn our GTM strategy for this multi-hundred million dollar product line into revenue
- New Product Introductions:
- Develop and lead clear Go to Market plans which translate product innovations from the Zuora Platform into solutions with repeatable customer buying motions that drive product adoption and revenue growth
- Partner with Product to provide company-wide clarity on target customers (personas/ICP), their challenges, and why they chose Zuora over alternatives
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering to design products that will be adopted and loved by the market, from in-app experience and messaging to positioning, pricing, and packaging
- Develop content, demos, and keynotes to amplify the value that customers get from using Zuora’s products
- Iterate relentlessly as we test hypotheses and discover what’s working and where we can improve cross-functionally
- Position Zuora As A Market-Leading Monetization Platform:
- Position Zuora as the only monetization platform for companies across multiple industries, and accelerate Zuora into a leadership position
- Be the swiss army knife of positioning – ensure our customers know how Zuora is a world-class monetization platform best suited for their needs
- Nail our product launches, using innovation milestones as a mechanism to change the perception of our customers and other market influencers (industry analysts, etc)
- Create mind-blowing content that communicates our story and makes our product shine
- Empowered The Field And Partners:
- Ensure our field and partners have the calm confidence that comes with knowing we have the best solution in the market
- Create best-in-class playbooks, collateral, customer stories and demos to showcase our products and drive our win rates
- Crush competition. Know how to position, deeply understand competitors’ weak spots, and learn from existing prospects and customers
- Be the voice of our customers to the Product organization, guiding Product Managers to ensure our technology backs up our narrative and meets our customers’ critical needs

Over the last two decades the subscription economy has grown exponentially. Many companies are no longer selling "product units" and instead embrace these recurring revenue streams. But, whilst subscription-based businesses are flooding the market, making the transition is far from easy or simple.
Zuora helps companies launch and manage subscription-based businesses. Having started with Zuora Billing, the company have expanded their product portfolio to include Zuora Revenue, Zuora Collect and Zuora Central Platform. It's also gained big-name clients, including Zoom, Ford and Sony.
Set within this fast-growing economy, Zuora has attracted serious investment after its 2018 IPO. This fuelled the company's international expansion, and allowed it to launch consumption-based billing and revenue recognition tools. Most lately, it has been working to integrate AI enhancements into its offering.
