Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Python backend development and JavaScript frontend frameworks
- 7+ years of experience in web development
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript
- Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g. Flask)
- Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-orientated architecture
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team
- We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to work in a high performance team at a scaling health technology company and have responsibility for driving our business growth from day one
- Our digital journeys are right at the heart of what we do and our goal is to offer seamless digital experiences to support exceptional healthcare
- Reports to: CTO
- You will be responsible for developing features and enhancements to our SaaS platform, working with other engineers to share knowledge and build great products
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Optimise application performance and responsiveness
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
