- The ML and especially LLM space is moving extremely fast (think ChatGPT), which requires fast thinking and scrappiness. Sometimes things become obsolete overnight! You need to be okay working with ambiguity
- You have a product design portfolio with in-depth case studies

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product team. You’ll join a cross-functional team building a greenfield product from the ground up, turning complex conversational AI workflows into a simple, intuitive first-touch experience. You will be reporting to the Director of Product
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to shape product direction
- Lead the end-to-end design process — from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and launch
- Conduct user research, usability testing and customer interviews to ensure our solutions are genuinely user-centered
- Design approachable, intuitive interfaces that make advanced AI technologies accessible to non-technical users
- Continuously grow your technical understanding to better anticipate constraints and opportunities in AI-driven products
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to keep our product — and your craft — at the cutting edge
- The product team is currently counting 4 Product Managers and 2 Product Designers. Product Designers work in tandem with their Product Manager counterparts. We are a small and high-performing team that enjoy working together
Our take
Rasa is a platform for AI-led personalized conversations. There’s no shortage of competition in this market, with the likes of Google’s Dialogflow and Microsoft’s LUIS, but Rasa has taken a different approach. It moves away from the standard ’this question receives this response’ hard-coded chat bots to a system that uses AI technologies to understand what the customer is saying in context.
Rasa's open source platform has grown a large community which has helped with integrating the system into a wide range of messaging platforms, and in creating extensions to the functionality of the system. This in turn has increased its use and popularity.
While Rasa is coming under increasing pressure from a swarm of chatbot providers powered by ChatGPT and other generative AIs, Rasa has integrated large language models into its own platform. This, combined with recent funding and recognition as a leader in generative conversational AI, puts the company in a very good position going forward.
