Director of Growth, Visible

• You've led growth across both marketing and product. You've worked on both acquisition and the conversion or monetisation surface, and can speak to how the two compound
• You've owned a commercial number and can talk fluently about acquisition cost, payback and lifetime value. You measure honestly and have used holdouts and cohort analysis to establish what actually drove growth and where opportunities lie
• You've owned a multi-channel remit, and taken new channels from a first test to a real share of spend
• You've run high-volume performance campaigns. You've managed meaningful paid budgets across more than one platform at a cadence of constant testing, and you understand how modern buying actually works - how signal, bidding and creative volume interact, and what it takes to hold CPA while scaling spend
• You've built loops as well as ads. You can point to results you’ve driven from referral, advocacy or community, not only from paid media
• You know subscription growth deeply - paywalls, pricing and packaging, free-to-paid conversion, lifecycle, churn and win-back
• You've built and led teams, including managing senior people, and develop the people around you rather than just directing them
• You don't think being senior means being removed. We're deliberately scrappy: we favour judgment over consensus, small teams over big ones, and progress over perfection. You'll interrogate the numbers yourself, get into the funnel, write the brief when it needs writing, and use AI to move faster rather than reaching for headcount
• You care about the mission and want your growth work to help people who have been overlooked and underserved, not just move a number. You won’t sacrifice integrity and values to hit targets (and we will never ask you to)

Desirable

• Owning the growth number end to end - how many people we reach, how many become members, and the economics that make it sustainable. You'll be accountable for acquisition cost, payback and lifetime value, and the trade-offs between them. You’ll build out a growth model, set targets and empower your teams to exceed them
• Leading and developing teams - Marketing (paid channels, creative, creators and ambassadors) and Growth Product (funnel, pricing, lifecycle, free-to-paid) both report to you, along with design and engineering support. You'll set the direction, raise the bar on what good looks like, join the dots between your teams and grow the people in them. You'll make the case for investment and hire as the functions grow
• Opening new channels - discovering where our next chapter of growth comes from is part of the mandate. You'll bring a method to it: what we pilot, what success looks like before it ships, and when we kill it - then where to scale, cap or reallocate as required
• Supercharging a creative engine - the quality and quantity of our storytelling is how we earn attention. You’ll lead the teams responsible for it, and ensure the journey downstream of a click is tailored to the right audience
• Owning conversion, pricing and monetisation - the journey from landing on our site through to membership, and the commercial model underneath it. Pricing and packaging are largely unexplored: we sell a wearable and a subscription together, so attach rate, how device cost sits inside our acquisition cost, and how we price the bundle are all open for experimentation. Your Growth Product Manager runs the funnel, paywall and checkout day to day; you own the outcome and set the strategy. Our Core Product team owns the in-app value that drives long-term retention
• Building growth loops that compound - you’ll expand channels including and beyond paid marketing: product-led growth, and loops like referral, and recommendation from healthcare professionals
• Building measurement we can trust and plan with - you’ll build and own a growth model for forecasting and budget allocation, and the systems for incrementality testing, holdouts and cohort analysis. You’ll set the standard for measurement and reporting in the business. Strategy and Finance are key partners here, alongside our data team on attribution

• Introductory call with Clem, our Chief of Staff
• A take-home task to get a feel for what the role will be like, followed by an interview with Luke, our co-founder and CEO, and the individuals reporting into you
• Final meeting with both founders
